General information on data processing
Scope and processing of personal data
As a matter of principle, we collect and use personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our contents and services. The collection and use of personal data of our users is regularly only carried out with the consent of the user. An exception is made in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law.
Legal basis for the processing of personal data
To the extent that we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a EU Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) serves as the legal basis for the processing of personal data. When processing personal data which is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations which are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. Insofar as processing of personal data is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO serves as the legal basis. If vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d DSGVO serves as the legal basis. If the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or of a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the former interest, Article 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO serves as the legal basis for the processing.
Data deletion and storage time
The personal data of the subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer exists. Furthermore, data may be stored if this has been required by the European or national legislator in EU ordinances, laws or other regulations to which the person responsible is subject. Data will also be blocked or deleted when a storage period prescribed by the mentioned standards expires unless there is a need for further storage of the data in order to conclude or fulfil a contract.

Rights of the data subject
If your personal data is processed, you are the data subject within the meaning of the DSGVO and you are entitled to the following rights towards the data processor:
Access, deletion and correction
Within the scope of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to obtain information free of charge at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correct or delete this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions regarding personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.
Right to limit processing
You have the right to request the limitation of the processing of your personal data. To do so, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request that we limit the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you may request the limitation of data processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you do need it to pursue, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to demand limitation of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
- If you have lodged an objection in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 DSGVO, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it is not yet clear whose interests outweigh the interests of the parties concerned, you have the right to demand that the processing of your personal data be limited.
If you have limited the processing of your personal data, these data – apart from their storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the purpose of asserting, pursuing or defending legal claims or protecting the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
Right to data transferability
You have the right to have data, which we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract, handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only take place to the extent that it is technically feasible.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct advertising (Art. 21 DSGVO)
You have the right to object at any time, for reasons relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. e or f of the DSGVO; this also applies to profiling based on these terms.
If you object, we will no longer process the personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling reasons for processing that are worthy of protection and outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or unless the processing serves to assert, pursue or defend legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 DSGVO).
If your personal data are processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing, including profiling, insofar as it is connected with such direct marketing.
If you object to processing for the purposes of direct marketing, the personal data concerning you will no longer be processed for these purposes (objection under Art. 21 para. 2 DSGVO).
Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke any consent already given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right of appeal to a supervisory authority
In the case of infringements of the DSGVO, those concerned have a right of appeal to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or place of the suspected infringement. This right of appeal is regardless of any other administrative or legal remedies.
